Privacy policy

Draft — not yet in force. This policy is awaiting final review before the contact form is switched on. Items highlighted like this are still to be confirmed.

This policy explains what information we handle when you visit ezephyr.in, and what happens to the details you send us when you contact eZephyr Advertising through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp. It also explains how to reach us about them.

Who we are

Ezephyr Advertising Pvt Ltd, trading as eZephyr Advertising.
A-322, 3rd Floor, Antop Hill Warehousing Complex, Wadala East, Mumbai 400037, India.

For anything about this policy or your information, email info@ezephyr.in.

When you visit the website

Server logs. Like most websites, ezephyr.in runs on servers that automatically record each request they receive. A log entry typically includes your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the page that linked to it, and your browser and device type. These logs are kept by our web host (see “Services involved” below) and are used to run and protect the website. Hostinger’s server-log contents and retention period to confirm.

Cookies and similar technologies. This website does not set cookies, and it does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts, images and scripts are served from ezephyr.in itself, not from other companies’ servers. Whether Hostinger’s servers add any cookies of their own to confirm once the site is hosted.

Your “Pause animation” choice. If you pause the animation on the homepage, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage (under the name ez-motion-paused), so the animation stays paused when you come back. The setting stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser’s settings.

Time-of-day lighting. The homepage’s Mumbai scenes are lit for the time of day on your device: morning, afternoon, evening or night. This is worked out entirely in your browser. Your time and location are not sent to us or stored.

What we collect when you contact us

Through the contact form: only what you type into it:

  • your name and email address;
  • your phone or WhatsApp number, if you give one;
  • the service you’re interested in and your project description;
  • your budget and timeline, if you choose them.

To protect the form from abuse, our web server keeps a scrambled code made from your IP address (not the address itself) with the times of your recent messages, so that it can limit how many messages can be sent in an hour. Codes are kept for about an hour after your last message, and are deleted the next time the form accepts a message after that. Your IP address is not included in the email we receive. The contact form does not set cookies.

By email: your email address and name as they appear in your email, what you write, and any files you attach.

On WhatsApp: your phone number, the name and profile details you have chosen to show on WhatsApp, and the messages, files and media you send us.

How we use it

We use your details to read and reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal or quotation. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t sell or share your details for anyone else’s marketing.

Legal basis for processing (for example, your request to be contacted or your consent) — to confirm with a legal adviser.

Services involved

We use the following services to run the website and to receive and hold your messages. Each handles your information on our behalf or, for WhatsApp, under its own terms.

  • Website hosting — Hostinger. The website and the contact form run on Hostinger’s servers, which process your form submission on its way to our mailbox and keep the server logs described above. The location of the servers used for ezephyr.in to confirm.
  • Email — Google Workspace (Google). Messages from the contact form, and emails you send us directly, are delivered to and stored in our mailbox at info@ezephyr.in, provided by Google Workspace. The contact form sends each message from that same account, so a copy is also kept in its sent mail.
  • WhatsApp — WhatsApp (Meta). If you message us on WhatsApp, your messages are carried by WhatsApp, a separate service with its own terms and privacy policy, which apply to your use of it. We see and keep your messages in our WhatsApp account. Which WhatsApp app and account eZephyr uses (WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business, on which devices), and whether chats are backed up (for example to Google Drive or iCloud), to confirm.

Any other services or people that receive enquiry details (for example, email forwarding, a CRM or spreadsheet, freelancers or partners working on a proposal) to confirm, so that this list is complete.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other websites, such as our clients’ websites and WhatsApp. We don’t control those websites, and this policy doesn’t cover them. When you visit them, their own privacy policies apply.

Transfers outside India

Google may store and process email on servers outside India, and WhatsApp operates internationally, so your information may be processed in other countries. Google Workspace data-location settings, the location of Hostinger’s servers, and any safeguards that apply to transfers (in particular for visitors from the UK and EU) to confirm with a legal adviser.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries, and the correspondence that follows, for as long as is reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes: for example, to respond to you, to prepare and follow up on proposals, and to keep a record of our dealings with you. We review older records from time to time, and delete personal information when it is no longer necessary, or when the law requires us to, subject to any exceptions that apply (for example, where we have to keep it to meet a legal obligation).

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the details you have sent us, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@ezephyr.in. If we can’t delete something, for example because we have to keep it by law, we’ll tell you why. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the UK and EU GDPR or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Which rights apply to whom, the contact for complaints or grievances, and how and within what time we answer requests, to confirm with a legal adviser.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date below.
